The commission comprises a large linoleum floor, wall and door coloring palette plus painted patterns and shapes, and a mobile wall. It also includes a relief mounted on a 30-meter-long wall, and four framed collages. The artwork extends across more than 220 square meters of the building.
The floor composition is constructed from geometric circular shapes that extend beyond the room. These shapes are cut from various colors of acoustic linoleum and accentuated with red wires to emphasize their forms.
The circle also plays a central role in the 30-meter-long relief wall, featuring painted round shapes, folded mirrors, and wooden sticks that suggest motion. In certain sections of the wall, the raw concrete has been intentionally left exposed, allowing for a glimpse of the building's core structure. On these sections, new layers of paint have been applied, and a relief has been created that explores the interplay between decoration and construction
The piece can be viewed from multiple angles, each of which yields a significantly different experience. This is emphasized by the color palette in the overall composition, particularly the distinction between the section of the room that can be enclosed for educational purposes and the rest of the canteen. In this area, colored mobile walls have the ability to transform the space based on whether they are open or closed. With a blue palette on the side facing the canteen and a reddish hue on the side facing the education area, these colors on the mobile walls accentuate the floor design and generate a transformative effect, shifting between warm and cold, enclosed and open.
